cleaning, stuff, and more stuff
Ok so last night after getting back from the Buddhist center we all (Me, Amy, Erin, and Pat (Pat is Amy’s mom, I love Pat to death she is so nice!!)) went to Menards to look at paint. We are wanting to repaint the whole inside of the house, I was looking at some paint for my altar room. I found a nice shade of Yellow for the walls and a nice Green from the trim. I don’t have the money yet to get my paint but I spend 100 bucks from my delivery tips buying some other things. I got a big thing of CLR, a new lamp and shade for my altar room that will match the paint I want. I also got a new toilet seat, the one I have is disgusting (as in dirty, not ugly). Also got some scrubbing pads.
When I got home I went to town on my bathroom, I scrubbed my bathtub with the CLR. My bathtub was stained black and pink. The black is from all the nasty dirt and dust that I have to wash off of me after working at FedEx, and the water stains the tub a strange pink color. The CLR worked great and now my tub is white like it should be. I also scrubbed out my sink and toilet. There are still some brow water stains in my toilet bowl that never want to come out no matter what. Meh
There is a little shelf in my bathroom that has room for 5 3x3in pictures in it, so I took the time to print out some nice nature scenes and put them in it. I have been meaning to do that for a year now. And I finally got to utilize my nice new color printer for something useful! So anyway my bathroom looks great…not for long since it seems like things go back to looking like crap after a week. I also still need to clean my room…again. I also want to go through all my DVD, CDs, and books and see if I can sell some stuff to Half Priced Books.
In other news, I highly recommend all my friends who are into Politics to get the game “The Political Machine 2008” It is super fun!!
