Ok been gone a long time, I got a new computer and it works great...it’s fun to play WOW with the graphics all the way up and not lag. Only bad thing is it has Vista, I love the layout and look of Vista, but it has a lot of problems running games. It likes to randomly shut them off. Thankfully WoW runs fine on it.
Any who, I was listening to NPR, The Diane Rehm Show who I love and this conservative guy was on it, I forget his name. Like most conservatives he ended up pissing me off with his stupidity. One of the questions was about people criticizing one of the charities he works with and he defended it by saying that they do a lot of good work. He gave only two examples; “We have done a lot of things, we have passed out bibles AND (he gets excited here) we even had groups of carolers singing hymns to people in China” I thought to myself, OH!!!! How wonderful, because bibles and songs will really fucking feed the hungry and clothe the poor! Seems some Christians don’t give a shit how much suffering there is as long as people believe in their god. Seems to me it would be safer to cover the other bases just in case this “god” person does not exist.
I also saw the movie, “For the bible tells me so” And cried my eyes out. Here is a trailer
There was also a scene about Focus on The family with one of the gay peopleand his family in the film, its very heart breaking…so I will make you watch an extended version.
And last but not least Olbermann has some things to say about Focus on the family.
