1. What did you do in 2008 that you’d never done before?
Went to New York!
I actually went to a party and met my neighbors this year, we've lived here 6+ years.
Went morel hunting in the spring and actually found a couple.
Saw a bear in the wild!
Started playing a super nerd online game (NOT WoW!!!)
I've eaten some things I've never ate before. Namely fish intestines and century egg (not at the same time!)
2. Did you keep your new year’s resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I didn't keep ANY of my New Years resolutions :P I already have new ones for this year.
In stead of saying "Lose weight" this year I just want to feel better and be in less pain on a day to day basis. This might conflict with the "eat more and better cheese" resolution though!
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Some dolly friends had babies this year and ofc one I know of is coming soon :)
4. Did anyone close to you die?
No. Isn't that nice?
5. What countries did you visit?
None this year. Not even Canada! haha
6. What would you like to have in 2009 that you lacked in 2008?
Energy, pain free movement, sex, confidence, motivation, money.
7. What dates from 2008 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
Not really a date, but snow in April was pretty damn crazy.
Nov 4th, one of the most moving presidential election ever.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Getting to know two great couples this year and spending time with them! Hey, that's an achievement for us! We have friends :3
9. What was your biggest failure?
Exactly like Eerika said, my lack of motivation and procrastination caused me to get lots less done than I wished to.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Just boring stuff like colds and sinus infection.
11. What was the best thing you bought?

The best thing I got this year (didn't buy myself) is my new Macbook pro!
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Hmm so many people who do things everyday to help various causes. People who manage to go to work at the nursing homes and hospitals and all the jobs that are so fucking hard, but they do them anyway.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
The republican party!
14. Where did most of your money go?
Food, wine, cheese, oil to heat the house, various thrift stores and ebay purchases.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Traveling to New York and LA, meeting Hilary, Linda and seeing Paula again!

a) happier or sadder? Happier maybe?
b) thinner or fatter? Maybe a tiny bit thinner. TINY BIT!
c) richer or poorer? I guess poorer as I have to take a week of unpaid leave from work.
18. What do you wish you’d done more of?
Sewing, crocheting, exercising ;)

Yep, procrastinating. Also I wish I'd done less worrying about if people liked me or not XD
20. How did you spend Christmas?
Eve, went to my sisters and had a white elephant gift exchange. It was a very nice evening.
Day, went to my friend Jonna's and had lots of food with she and her family. Relaxing!

Yes with my garlic press! Ok just kidding, I haz a Jacki.
22. What was your favorite TV program?
Gee I have to say 30 Rock, Lost (when it's on!), Fringe (yeah I don't know why either).

Probably, but no one comes to mind right now hahaha.

Book? Read? I love to read, but don't make time for it.
25. What was your greatest musical discovery?
Not sure if there was a great discovery for me this year...This is another resolution, discover more music.

Time off! lol New computer :)

A car...yet! Still working on getting a loan.

Superbad. Yes, I'm a 17 year old boy :P I didn't see anything heavy and or important this year.

40th birthday! WOO! I went to New York for the first time thanks to Jacki having to work there.
I love it there. Plus the food....we ate at Anthony Bourdain's place "Les Halles" and "L'Ecole". Learned to make a champagne cocktail! heh
30. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Not being such a anxiety ridden worry wart.
31. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2008?
Crap. I want a new look!

Jacki is always talking me down off the ledge. Having a RL friend in Diem has helped a lot too!

I don't really "Fancy" people. If I do I don't like to talk about it.
34. What political issue stirred you the most?
Prop 8 the gay marriage deal.
35. Who did you miss?
SO many people! My parents, but also friends who live far away.

I can't pick a fav, it was great meeting the people I've known online for years and years, Leenda and Hilary!
