Bellini is not Cellini
So all that Western Civ testing was pretty special. And I remember reading about the scholar just forgot the name so I wrote down "Florence" as Mr. Daddow advised.
So craziness. I made Quiz Bowl but so did my brother, so yeah...
But so in APWC we had a review session where we were on teams and there was a toss-up related to the unit and a person said NOW! then answered if they got it right the team as a whole could try to answer some really unrelated bonus questions. So me, Kay and the rest of the team did really well. Anyrate, so before lunch I was waiting for Kay and had just checked the list seeing I made Quiz Bowl. Daddow walked by and I said Hi Mr. Daddow said, "I guess you proved you deserve that spot on the list." and I felt special because he's kind of... well daddowy.
Totally ruled the Foods fruits and vegetables quiz today though.
German was strange. Either people were missing or I just never noticed how small our class is. But we were walking around answering eachother's subjunctive questions we'd made for homework. I asked Asya "What would your pet be called if it was really ugly?" The lovely kind person that she is answered "If my pet was really ugly, it would be called Betsy."

And then because we can't move around the desks anymore we all sat in a circle on the floor and some were standing and we reviewed vocabulary, but it was much more fun than it should've been.
So today I just felt very connected to my German class today. Oh and we read a poem about The ElfKing by Goethe. Then we heard it sung with piano. It's cool but sad. Well part of the class was quiet and sad at the end of reading it the others were laughing.
Also German class seemed to last forever but not in a bad way. Our last real week for awhile in German. Maybe I should study and ace the quiz tommorow (weekly vocabulary in sentences quiz) because it's our last one for two or so weeks. It'll be a short one though he said.
how'd I do uncutting? So it somehow felt like a Friday so it feels like I don't have to go do my homework but I don't have much anyway. I'm considering trying out for the madrigal play but it'll be a morning thing. It could be fun though. And apparently as of 8th today they needed people to try out. 7:00 am tommorow that's when I get up not when I'm at school. Maybe, I do like acting.
So ICK tommorow I guess we'll start at Fellows, it's convienent. So my father says a nearby tiny town has a playground with one of those spinny merry-go-round things. Can anyone say ICK field trip?
