So why can't we college search by the things I'm looking for?
A community that feels close knit, supportive, and friendly. A school that feels as if it has a history and tradition behind it. Somewhere that will help me figure out what I want to major in and what to do with that. (but has anthropology if I do go with that)
Preferably that won't leave me swaddled in debt.
I really like the idea of attending a Catholic university.
If you care here's my current (as of this minute) top three:
1. Knox College, Galesburg IL
2. Notre Dame, South Bend IN
3. Marquette, Milwaukee WI
or as Theodore bluntly put it,"so basically everywhere you've visited except Michigan?"
What to do? What to do? It just seems there's no time to make visits before I have to be all applied! Especially to places like Boston College, that's far away. I'm going to push the freshmen I mentor to do college visits early.
I still can't comprehend that my summer's potential is pretty well wrung out. I was going to do visits! But then it was just too late. Stupid sense of time altered by lack of Independence Day.
Oh well, I'm sure I'll end up happy at one of those 3 colleges it's just the possibility of ending up happier elsewhere. I need to return to my contentment and stopped being worried by T.R. being worried about me.
