I'm so spoiled...
My fabulous, wonderful husband mrshirt is spoiling me with his fabulous cooking. We had Beef Stew on Saturday night (even if he did buy too much to all fit in the crockpot! luckily we still had his parent's old crockpot to cook the rest of the veggies in), and last night we had a wonderful pork loin with a pineapple glaze, string beans, and browned potatoes. Was VERY yummy! Happily, we have plenty of left over pork loin with the glaze, so I'll be having some of that for lunch one day this week.
Today it's nice and cold and we even have some light snow. Much nicer then the 80s that I heard it was going to be in Southern California today.
The job hunt is going slowly, and it would be helpful if Unemployment wouldn't be a bunch of morons and would actually fix the problem with the two weeks in December that they denied because they thought I was moving during that time. I wasn't, I was just being proactive about sending them an address change so I would get my tax form in a timely manner. The hearing for my appeal isn't supposed to be until March; luckily the appeals office has a clue and told me that YES, the idiots at EDD *can* fix the problem on their end, and even gave me the number for one of the Career Centers that is also supposed to have an Unemployment agent there three days a week... hopefully I can actually get through to them and get things worked out.
