Done moving (mostly).
mrshirt and I arrived at his house in PA on Wednesday night; I now officially live in West Chester. Not that the *rest* of my stuff is here yet... that will happen on Tuesday, when the truck arrives. Then we have the fun of unloading the truck and putting most of the stuff into storage.
Unfortunately, we're going to end up getting a second storage unit to deal with the stuff that we both have that we need to go through and deal with (purge, shred, file, etc), then as soon as we have that stuff dealt with, we can get rid of the extra storage unit. We'll have to keep the other unit until we can afford to move into an apartment of our own - and I need to get a job first!
I have started doing some very serious job hunting out here, and have even applied for a few (previous job hunting has been limited - once they heard I wasn't available until January, they weren't interested). I'll be contacting some of the local agencies next week to get registered with them for more job opportunities, hitting more websites, tomorrow's local paper, and doing a bit of networking with a few people I know out here.
Time to get back to rearranging stuff, will do a trip report on the move later.
