finalizing WorldCon plans
I called the Hilton tonight and extended my reservation, so now I will be arriving on Tuesday afternoon and leaving on Monday (at least that's the current plan). And I verified that my room rate was *not* changing for those nights! Woot!
I've heard rumors of trips to Disneyland on Tuesday evening before the con, and on Monday after the con... So who's going when? I'd love to go with friends (the *only* thing that can convince me to go during the summer), but I'd like to buy my ticket(s) in advance if possible, so that I can buy the right ticket(s) to save the most money (and have more spending money at con!).
Now I just need to ask for the time off at work (I don't think it will be a problem), which I will do in the morning when I get to work.
