It's been an age...
Ah yes. The old Live Journal. How I have neglected you. I solomnly declare that I will try my hardest to get back into writing posts.
This year has been hell. I was quite prepared to throw the towel in three days into the it. But it's not as if you can skip a whole year and move right on to 2009, no matter how much you may want to.
Having just come back from the fourth one so far this year, it's been a real roller coaster of emotions. And it's rapidly coming up on two years for S. I can't believe it has gone so fast. I'm a bit maudlin tonight and am trying to think of the good things that have happened this year.
My 30th fancy dress party in feb (a month late! lol) was fab and everyone looked so great.
I finally got to grips with my new class and they have done fantastically well these past two terms AND I get to keep them for another year!
I have made new friends this year and reunited with old ones.
I enjoyed the second series of Heroes (don't care if you didn't or don't watch, I liked it and that's all that counts!)
My two insane cats make me smile at least once a day.
My best friend sticks with me even though I drive her mad, change all the rules and don't open up when I should.
My Grandad is still with us.
I grew sunflowers from seeds and they are just starting to bloom and open.
I haven't lost Rodney to the Woo Monster.
I know there are a ton more, it's just my eyes and so tired and the screen is blurry. Also so sort of weird fuzziness has settled in my head.
So I hope you are all well and I am so going to pull my socks up and get back on the horse. So to speak.
