beginning to look a lot like july
was anyone else in terre haute freaked out by the random thunderstorm last night? not freaked because of thunder but because thunder in december is something that should just not happen! it was raining for what felt like days. sort of a crazy and way too mild december. i'm not really complaining, i am digging the no jacket weather.
this is what my next few days look like:
starting tonite:
1) pack maine stuffs and map out drive to chicago/airport parking situation/layover in NYC plans
2) go to work, kick ass, make money
3) go out to breakfast with ihop crew, plus hang with jordan!!!!! since he's back in town finally
4) sleepz0rs then lunch with jack and jordan (possibly)
5) sort of depends - if i have to work a shift tomorrow afternoon, then ill be doing that from 6-11. if not, i'll be scrambling to wrap presents and hang with the boys
6)nap and then hit up the south denny's for some nostalgic coffee and cigarettes with jack and jordan
7)leave for chicago around as close to 1 a.m. as possible
8) around 5 am, get to chicago, find airport, find economy lot, park. shuttle to terminal, check in
9) buy some ice cream and a magazine, indulge until my presumably delayed flight takes off
10) get to new hampshire around 11 am, do the happy to see my dad dance and sleep in the car for a few hours while we drive back to maine
11) christmas party, dinner, excitement ahh!
12) christmas day, family, more dinner, cookies, overexcitement, first christmas with family in years and years
13)wind down, sleep, watch tv, hang with the fam
14)wednesday morning drive to new hampshire, flight back to chicago, locate bags, parking garage, turn around and make trip back to THC - arrive around 7:30 evening unless i decide to hang in chicago for a bit
15)grab some coffee and hang with roomie or jack or maybe take a nap and at 10 pm, back to fucking work. ick.
i have a three hour layover in NYC. thinking about strolling out for a little bit, not sure. don't want anything fucked up to happen. whatevs.
it's going to be hectic, but good.
