Where there is nothing to do
except think.

Always
dangerous territory

And I wonder
How Much?

How Much
of The Great Adventure
was real.

How Much?

I want to ask "What is Real?"

And

I am awake
in the middle of the night

And

I watch you sleep.
Just for a few minutes.

And

I resist
the temptation
to tease you back to the world
because you need to rest
as do I.

And

I realize

I already know.

And

I am calm.
