The flowers have been blooming for a while now and I just took my first picture of a butterfly. I was thinking that having 4 cats and a Rottweiler was keeping everything away... My deck is usually swarming with Butterflies and Hummingbirds once the Zinnias start blooming and I've really only seen a lot of Bumble Bees. But, this beauty was out there early this morning.
After our drive through AZ a couple months ago I got a bug to have some cactus... I found these little babies at a local garden center... nothing like what we saw coming home from California.
This is what we saw in Arizona... They were so beautiful.
