Birfday
I'm turning 19 on August 3. My mailing address is 435 N. Shelley Avenue, Othello, WA 99344. I like cards, and presents, and cupcakes. No fruit filling. If there are any billionaires out there, reading my LJ, being supremely amused by what I say, be amused no longer and take me seriously:
I want a laptop, preferably a Think Pad X Series X31, 384 MB memory, thingpad CD-RW/DVD combo drive, warranty service upgrade 1 year onsite repair, intel PRO/wireless mini PCI adapter, Adobe Photoshop 7.0, Microsoft Publisher, Norton Antivirus 2003, and a green gummi bear. A webcam, digital camera, and excellent portable printer would also be nice, as would a cute bag to carry it/them in.
I would also like a car. Any car that runs, with enough space to move my various objects and computer to college, probably in Tulsa, Oklahoma though maybe in Seattle. Which means good gas mileage and if you're really angelic, you'll pay the insurance tab for me, because God knows my folks can't handle it.
For the rest of you, make a group effort and get me Isaac Hanson in a big green bow, please. I am also changing the theme of my bedroom decor slightly, to a nautical theme. Think boats, pirates, compasses, star charts, pictures/paintings/depictions of sea storms, etc. I don't want any cheesy lighthouses, girly starfish/shells, or framed copies of Footprints. PLEASE.
By the way, for those who think I'm being unusually material oriented and selfish, I have been bitched at year after year about not being specific when asking for presents, not giving anyone ideas, etc. etc. etc. I finally know what I want and I am letting those who want to know know so that they can act accordingly and not BITCH AT ME.
On Surgery
I will pretty much be home Thursday afternoon through Sunday night, for sure. I will be recovering, in various stages of sleep and awake, eating pudding and feeling sickeningly helpless. You all know how much I hate feeling helpless. All I need is the white knight on his trusty charger to come and rescue me and the picture will be complete.
Anyway, all this to say, I love letters, cards, phone calls, etc. Mailing address is listed above. Telephone number is (509)488-6075. Am I foolish for listing this on non-friends only? Yes, but who gives a rip. I want company, dammit.
On last notes
Please, post away while I'm gone. Email me. (grittytumulto@yahoo.com). Do whatever. Don't let Randy get away with not posting at somethingpositive.net, and keep on lovin'. I'll be back. I might even have fiction for you late at night again. Ha, ha!
