Latests Views on Religion...
Lately i have been contemplating religion. I have read into buddhism, catholicism, judaism, pagan etc...I have thought up some interesting points. What do christ, buddha, muhammed all have in common? They all are men that have found the way. Never once in the bible does it say the word religion so why do most people have 1? There are things on this planet that cannot be explained by anything but that there is one true god. Thats a given. But the simple fact that people have a religion has bothered me from day one. The only word that even comes close to religion in the bible is spirituality and since everyone has a spirit, it only makes sense. We are put on this planet to build a personal relationship with our lord, our god but who is he? Is it who the catholics say it is. Cuz the catholics tell us to worship jesus and praise the lord but in fact they are the ones who killed him. And if they say to have no false idols, tell me, who is this pope guy and why is he held in such high regard? The catholics have written history since we went from BC to AD but what happened before catholics came? Now some people might think cuz they are christian that im not talking about this religion but in fact christianity came from catholicism. Martin Luther found 81 things wrong with the catholic church and started christianity. So christianity is still based on catholicism. "I used to pray until I realized I was talking to myself." Einstien. This quote has put a lot of thoughts into my head. I blame all these questions in my head on the drugs i have taken b/c before them, i knew christianity was the way. Now it just seems to controlled to be it. sorry bout this, i know its jumping around but its almost 3 in the morning and my head hurts from thinking too much! Alright well its time to rest my thoughts and go into the wonderful world of dreamland, where anything can happen! (even a date with Jennifer Love Hewitt) *wink wink*
