(no subject)
1) Picked up a new writing form - the affidavit. It renewed my regrets about not having focused my efforts in school. I might have made at least an okay lawyer. My second draft came back from the office yesterday with so little changed. I try to delight in this. One must always remember to take pleasure. (Especially in times of desperation.)
2) I've also made this other change in my attitude towards Life. (I capitalize like I'm Miss Emily D. with the green fingers.) I am trying to laugh more. (This sometimes gets awkward when applied poorly on certain serious subjects.) Otherwise, I am getting good. I try to make other people laugh too composing smart-ass witticisms on social media. But sometimes I lose them. Then it makes me a wee bit sad. I pretend to myself it's my words that bring all the boys to the yard.
