aces and eights
Yea, it was poker night last night and we had lots of fun. Nathaniel, Perry, and Ev came over to play. I made it to the top three and then gave all my chips to Jon cause he stole a bunch of them to stay in anyway, haha. It's nice cause if I just throw a couple beer bottles away the house is still clean. I love having a clean house, I just hate cleaning it, haha. Who can blame me though?
I've been a little depressed lately but I'm trying to work through it. Eh, other than that - Into school early again tomorrow to work on the cut thru review. I frikkin hate my online class. Got a test this Friday or Saturday that I'm not excited about. I have to get 86 or better on the next two tests in order to maintain an A in that class and that hasn't proved as easy as it should be. My comparitive religon class has been going great though. It's great that the teacher can be a methodist preacher but still stay objective.
It's just interesting to listen to some of the early heresies from when it was being decided what today's christians would or would not believe. Isn't it kind of disheartening to even consider that a group of men - not "God" - decided what the bible would say? Many would say - I believe what I want to believe, but how can you believe any of it if you can't trust some of it? I don't really know. I'm an Agnostic after all, haha. I'm just constantly questioning.
