An expensive lesson to be sure

So last weekend I had my great plans to make it to go to the twin cities on Friday, enjoy some bear company on Saturday, and go to a party on Sunday for New years...

I made it to the cities... that was it.

I was foolish to park in Minneapolis at a local business shop... because I couldn't find parking on the streets anywhere... the business was closed, and there was another car in the lot... also in the past when going to this house we parked there and it was just fine.

Not this time... I returned to the spot where I was parked to find it had been towed... a very very expensive lesson to be sure, which threw off the rest of the weekend. I didn't want to park in St. Paul for fear of being towed again... so no bearage. The snow took care of my plans for new years party, although I wasn't upset at all about that... it was very pretty to watch the snow fall.

So all in all, a very expensive lesson... but my own damn fault. Although on the same token, it really disenchants me from wanting to move there someday. And I don't know right now if the pros outweigh the cons yet. I'm gonna have to figure it out soon though, since I'm wanting to make the first steps in February possibly.
