1. My very favorite thing about Terra Nova?
Christine Adams. Simone!!! <3
So far, that's the only new show I've even bothered watching. It was fine, if not stellar, though the fact that it started with "In the dawn of the 22nd century" did not endear it to me any. I wouldn't even call that the good kind of cheese. It was probably some kind of blue cheese. Bad way to start off.
Looking forward to October, though. Psych, Walking Dead, prison House should be funny, and maybe Grimm will surprise me. And I'll try Connie Britton's new show (American Horror Story or something), if only because she's in it. (Oh, very funny. It's on the same time as Psych. Well, I had to have at least one conflict, I guess. Two, with Grimm.)
2. The store was out of ground chicken, so I grudgingly bought ground turkey for the first time in a very long time. I hoped that I'd like it better than I remembered. I didn't. Meh.
3. I finally bought Monstrous Regiment. Not sure yet when I'm going to read it; I'm trying to baby my sleep schedule, which means no more reading anything at all funny or interesting before bed. I've been working on my stack of old GAMES magazines instead. I'm currently in the middle of a huge
paint-by-numbers puzzle that I expect I'll finish sometime before the end of October. And there are some even larger ones after that. O_o
4. I'm out of coffee, and I'm afraid to drink another cup. :( I guess I'll make do with another cup of tea. *yawns and makes everyone else yawn, too*
(Random aside: after watching series one of Luther this month, just thinking of that one scene makes me yawn...and it was a transparently fake yawn, too. Unfair.)
