(no subject)
I'm kind of torn. I've pretty much finished my ficathon story (4,163 words! Woohoo!), but since over half of it was written today, I'd kind of like more time to prod it into submission (and betaing would be good). On one hand, a lot of people are turning their stories in late, so one more wouldn't make much difference. On the other hand, I'm going out of town for a few days, and I need to leave tomorrow, so I'm not sure there's any point to delaying it. Also, I've been putting off an obscene number of things which are actually important...and I really shouldn't spend any more time on this now.
Guess I talked myself into posting it, out of shame, if nothing else. (The really horrible thing is, after spending all those day (weeks) driving myself crazy...I ended up going with pretty much what I was thinking all along. I absolutely should have been able to finish this weeks ago.)
*sighs* So...posting soon. But if anyone would care to beta for me after the fact, I'd still appreciate it. I'll just have to wait a week or two to start the next draft.
And for everyone who doesn't care a bit about my ficathon travails, I apologize. Just one more post and it'll be all over, I swear.
