My coworkers are a bunch of asses
It used to be no matter what was going on in my personal life I would come in to work put on a smile and be friendly to these people. Well I'm done with that.
I'm sitting at my desk this morning and a couple of our salesmen are here, they start going around to all the office employees and giving out gifts. Nothing for me. Don't get me wrong its not that I was expecting anything but what should I think when they walk by me and hand out things to everyone else, do they think I'm not gonna notice? So I make some comment like I guess only being here 9 years its easy to forget about me. About 7 people hear me say this including both salemen, not a word from either of them everyone else was just staring. I just went back to my phone calls and kept working.
But wait there's more.
I went out drop off keys to a driver who locked his in his truck. So I get back and people are eating Subway and exchanging their Secret Santa gifts, something they decided to do last week when I took some vacation days. I just looked around and let out a "I can't belief this shit" loud enough for everyone to hear. Then I told my boss I was going out for lunch, we get a half hour, as I'm putting my jacket on I let the office workers know I was taking lunch and I'd be back in an hour, my boss gave me a look like no problem take you're time so off I went. Can't wait till I get back.
Also besides my bosses, theres 1 person here I actually do like so I can't wait for her to tell me what was said when I wasn't around.
