welcome back, welcome back, hello
hi guys! i know i have been super bad about not updating, but i have had a lot of crazy things going on that i have neglected this. but, after getting a nudge from caroline, i wanted to try and start this up again.
so i can't go into detail about EVERYTHING that has gone on in the past two months, but I will highlight what was important.
*i changed my major (omg). i am now a CHEP major. CHEP stands for college of human services, education, and public policy. it is a more liberal arts-type degree. it will give me more options after i graduate. i was just getting freaked out about being pigeon-holed into one field, that i was honestly not that interested in anymore. so, this puts me one semester behind, and i will be graduating in january of 2007. so i just have to finish off winter session, then do spring semester, and then next fall semester. quite a drastic change, yes i know, but each day i feel better for doing it. i would have been student teaching right now, and thinking about that terrifies me, which is how i know i made the right decision. it is sad that all of my friends will be graduating before me, but i am not that far behind, especially for changing my major during the first semester of my senior year.
* jordan has been back from scotland since august, and things aer going well! he is living in wynnewood with his brother, and working at borders. he has finished applying to graduate schools for his Ph D. he applied to columbia university, UPenn, University of N. Carolina @ Chapel Hill, and University of Notre Dame. He probably will not hear until march, so we are keeping our fingers crossed. i'll keep you posted, now that i have returned to the LJ world.
*i have joined netflix and am thoroughly enjoying it. i recommend it to all!
*i am busy planning a spring break trip with my roommates to disney world and daytona beach. it is crazy because three of them are studying abroad and one is at at home in PA..but hopefully we will figure it out!
*i love strawberry margaritas from deer park.
*i want the stone balloon back. mug nights there ruled. but now it is being turned into a retirement community. yeh cool for us, huh?
