flying away
Its been a hell of a weekend. We got Friday night and all day Saturday off, didn’t have to be back til Sunday morning. Me and two buddies rented a car and drove to Atlantic City, stayed in the Trump Plaza hotel. Went club hopping, drank some beer, had a great time. I didn’t gamble, couldn’t afford to after paying for the car, the hotel, food, and going to the clubs. I only got kicked out of one club, cause a guy I knew got kicked out and they kicked me out too just cause someone had seen me talking to him. Oh, and don’t anybody call my cell phone cause I left it at a strip club, but the service was already turned off anyways. I’m gonna have to go back to Atlantic City sometime when its warm out. When we got up Saturday morning it started to snow, so we decided to head back to Fort Dix, and it was a good thing, cause we’ve had over a foot of snow in the last 24 hours. The base is basically shut down. I’m on the first flight out of here that’s supposed to leave at 4:30pm, but I’m not sure it’ll happen with all the snow. The flight is supposed to stop in Iceland, so I guess that’s the first country I will visit outside of the US. I hope we fly tonight, cause it’s about 65 in Kuwait, it’ll be like going to Hawaii compared to this place and its knee deep snow. I’m not sure when I’ll be able to get back online, cause I have no idea whats going to be going on in Kuwait, but we’re supposed to be there for a few weeks possibly before we go to Iraq, of course with elections on the 30th there’s no telling what will happen. Wish me luck all, I’ll post a mailing address up here as soon as I get one.
