(no subject)
So here I sit, enjoying a beer and working on my 2nd essay for Hillsdale. I've realized that if I actually concentrate on what I'm writing I'm a damn good writer.
It's Christmas eve, there's a fire crackling in the fireplace
and I realize that I have a shit-ton of things to be thankful for.
I would like to have this post be one where I get all sappy to all of my friends
Thank you Pat for being there for me and for being an amazing friend. You've helped me alot with my inner demons,
and I hope that I can one day repay you for all you've done for me. Thank you.
Thank you Scott for being the calm to the storm of my life. You have the ability to understand and show that understanding with nothing more than a nod or a kind word. You are a great friend sir. Thank you.
Thank you Dawz for being the spice that makes me get all sizzley (i don't know how else to describe it.) and making me willing to think outside the box and to explore different things. You are amazing sir. Thank you.
Thank you Jason for trusting me enough to vent all of your problems to me. You return that for me and always can make me laugh. You are a truly great friend. Thank you.
Thank you Skinny for everything. For the talks during pool class, for all the shit that I've vented to you. Everything. Thank you.
And to my lovely and amazing love Meagan. You are beautiful in every way that I can think of. Thank you for putting up with my shit and smacking me around a little. I need it every now and then. For all of the kisses, for all of the times that
I've soaked your shoulders with my tears. For everything that you've done for me (and to me ;] ). Thank you.
Thank you to all of my friends. For being there, for the bear hugs (Ferris) and for the timeless memories that I've had with
all of you.
I hope you all get the greatest gifts you could ever dream of this Christmas season. Thank you all.
