Eric and I left Friday for our hometown. We probably wouldn't have gone home otherwise; four hours of driving aside, that's a hella lot of gas. But, it was Eric's sister's graduation. His youngest sister had graduated from HS and Friday night was the grad party. It was fairly uneventful, though nice to see his family and extended family. Jordan was there too. It was great to see him and hear his little, but ever growing, lungs. He's been doing pretty well, though they're concerned about his hearing. I was looking back through old entries and it doesn't seem like he was born back in October, let alone that he really should only be about 3-4 months old. He's growing so big.
I also got to play with Ian, who is getting so big. He looks more like an 18 month kid; not a 10 month old. He's crawling finally, but his balance on two feet is so good. I barely have to let him hold onto my fingers for him to just pick up his feet and go go go. He's growing into his head, but it's still big :-x.
He also has a cold. Eric was feeling sick earlier with a sore throat, and because "we kiss," I have one now too. Seems like playing with my nephew has given us something. Hopefully it doesn't develop into something big/bad.
Made dinner on Sunday for Grandma and my brother. It was their birthdays yesterday so I made them glazed ginger chicken with pineapple salsa. I was nervous whether grandma would like it, but she really seemed to.
Eric and I have also done well making sure we get out there and run. I'm definitely getting better with not tuckering out too quickly. I don't think we'll run tonight because of our impending colds, though maybe we should at least walk.
