Disclaimer
Lemme preface this entry with a quick note. I am not trying to complain, and i am not really depressed, or at least not any more so than a normal bad day at watt. I am simply making a few observations about college life.
This is the first time i have been more than a passing thought worth of "homesick." I really dont like that word because i dont really miss home its really just that im getting really excited to be home this weekend and see everyone there. So im so-called "peoplesick" i guess. Anyway what i have realized is that college classes are every bit as boring as high school classes. FOr some reason i thought that college teacehrs would have this will to not only teach but help students grow and i guess understand the essense of knowledge. For example a teacher that i would consider pretty much the perfect teacher is drew barrymore's character from donnie darko, or if you havent seen DD, Mr. Wilson comes awful close. Well i was wrong about college teachers, they can be just as bad as high school(pronunced miss-is) teachers(pronounced sum-ma-nen). So my basic point is, school sucks no matter what level it is. Other than that, im still really happy with the people here, but i could be more excited about going home this weekend for a combination of reasons. 1. OSU football
2. to see my family (that includes you cara)
3. to see my columbus friends (I'll miss you out-of-towners!)
3. to pick up my computer
4. To pick up the rest of the stuff i need for my dorm.
