So apparently I need a special code to register for Life Drawing because I'm a nonmajor. The only problem is that the secretary has automated email, saying that she'll get back to people eventually. So I may have to change my schedule accordingly. No idea. Got my fall schedule together though. Chinese, Mineralogy, and Calculus I. Heh.
So Kenneth, Mandi or I will be elected as the next leader of our Org on AO. Sort of strange, but yeah. I think I'd be a better second in command, or member of a triad government with them, but overall, I'm a bit mean to be the leader. ;p I'll have to upload a new picture of Diacon with his monocle. Hmm.
I participated in the Chinese Competition at the university, and overall it was amusing. There were a lot of people who sang in Chinese, even though they were told that it wasn't acceptable as part of the competition, and one of them actually won third place (from ISU). Singing in chinese is horrifying, really. The year 1 class that won did a Matrix skit, and Trinity was played by a guy who jumped around and did karate stuff. The Oracle was also played by a guy, but he was wearing an apron with a sign that said "The Oracles" around his neck. The only thing is, two people spoke for everyone in the entire skit, like it was subtitled, and they were reading off a script. They also had terrible tones and sounded like they'd only read through it maybe once before. Anyhow. There was a skit that was making fun of Chinese soap operas, and it was fucking hilarious.
I was thinking next year I could write a skit up from Xmen 2, if it's a cool movie, or perhaps LotR, which would be hilarious, since it would have to cover so much. There were like, four Star Wars skits in the competition..A Star Trek skit could also be hilarious, since I happen to live "in the future birthplace of James T. Kirk" or some BS. Anyway, I think I'll submit a logo picture too, but I have plenty of time to think about it.
