A sunny Easter Sunday in Atlanta!
Good news first: Gena's breast cancer was caught in time and they don't think she'll have anymore trouble with it! I knew nothing bad could happen to her.
Callie's wedding was awesome. It was so much fun to have the whole family together to just drink and dance and enjoy. Mitch met everyone and made a great impression. My aunt Mary danced with me and went on and on about how much she loved him. Yes, alcohol had been involved. It was so perfect to have several days off to just take walks around the farm with Mitch and show him that side of my childhood.
We're going to Jacob's wedding on May 8. He's a guy I work with so it will be a good work crowd to go to a wedding with. I've never met the wives of some of the technicians so that will be interesting.
Last night we went over to the Berry's and Mitch got to meet Martin for the first time which was exciting for me. With the exception of my Dad's side of the family, he's pretty much met everyone important in my life now. He didn't get to meet Uncle Joe at Callie's wedding though because he couldn't make it over from Hawaii.
We had an awesome month at work last week so I made the best paycheck ever. However, I had to send $400 of it to the government for my taxes. Bunk!
Okay, now I am going to add movies to our Netflix (we cancelled cable) and look for sunny bungalows for rent in Atlanta!
