i woke up and it's still summer!
i am still in awe that i can lie around and do nothing until i feel like going somewhere random and doing whatever i want, without ever having to think about what i SHOULD be doing. did sophomore year really ingrain that into my head? something's wrong with those classes if it did.
i must have fantastic blood. Even after being showered in bug spray, i managed to get 4 mosquito bites. i bet i could get any vampire i wanted at the drop of a hat.
good luck to amanda and jess and everyone else dancing this weekend! i'm coming to the recital today at 4:30. then feeding my pyromaniacal instincts, if the weather holds out. i've had this conversation with several people before, that every human is a pyro at heart.
Miracle is a fantastic movie, i saw it yesterday with Alice and it's really great. I laughed, i cried, i crossed my fingers, i cheered, i stared at an entire hockey team full of chicos muy guapos (!) for two hours. i highly reccomend it. plus, its full of crazy russians.
work was good today even though i came home soaking wet since i was on dish duty for most of my shift. also, managing buffet on an empty stomach over the lunch hour requires the most self-control ever needed in the history of... well, self control, i guess.
i'm going to the library tomorrow to check out 1984. everyone says its good, including my cousin, which is really the only recommendation i needed. my cousin's basically the coolest person in the world. this month, his hair color is... hmm, don't know for sure. it's been blue, green, bleached, brown... others i'm sure. speaking of weird hair colors, i think i'm going to get some 2 week stuff and do mine. my mom's trying to convince me not to b/c she's afraid i'll lose my job for looking like a freak, but i still want to. they can't fire me b/c of how i look! extreme discrimination. i'm really scared it won't wash out eventually, though. yikes. suggestions? color, brand, reasons for my insanity...?
