(no subject)
i kind of feel like a freshman again...i haven't been up this late for a long while what with 8 am classes and the like. But I put off a project, and now that i finished it i like the feeling of having nothing over my shoulders for a bit. Well, that's technically not true. I'm supposed to present to Troy's intro to Rec. Class tomorrow...kind of nervous about it. He basically wants me to talk about the requirements for TR, and give them my story of how i got interested in TR. So it's stuff i talk about all the time, but for some reason the fact that he asked me to come in as a guest speaker for his class intimidates me. Dr. Blankenship recommended me for it too, so I know i'll do fine with it. But Troy just said to ad lib, so knowing me i'll ramble(like i'm doing now). I wish I had more pictures of zach up here, or his equipment so i could show off more of that stuff, but it's okay. Oh, then today Troy says "it would be awesome if Zach could make a day trip for your presentation tomorrow". nice pulling that one on me last minute, but of course it can't happen. so they're stuck with just me. at least i know some people in the class so it shouldn't be too hard.
And as of now i have sheets accounting for 110 out of the 120 that are necessary to graduate. and i should have like 160 once Troy gives me my sheet from WSI assistant last semester. So it seems like things are coming in order for graduation. I have to remember to fill out some more paperwork and get it back to Becky, and i have to remember to get a money order for my background check. time seems to be in like slow motion and speeding fast all at once.
anyways, for a more up to date update(corny)...Joe came up this weekend:) He gave me pamper me bath and body works stuff, and a beautiful locket. and his mom gave me the Chicago Soundtrack:) So my birthday turned out to be pretty good. Joe and I just kind of chilled this weekend, we made a trip to Dan's rock b/c the warmth of frostburg tricked us. but once we got to the top of the mountain it was too cold to stay long, and there were lots of people there too :/ I'd like to go back at night when it's a full moon and it's warmer out so we can lay on the rocks and count stars :D Either way, it made for a nice little trip. We got DQ ALOT over the weekend too. and we went to the pet store, they had a HUGE iguana, he kind of freaked me out, but i wanted the little grey fluffy bunny they had. so Joe and i will have to have a big farm house for all the animals we want (including a red doberman and a bloodhound now). we rented movies and stayed in saturday night b/c i think i've developed seasonal allergies :( but the movies were good, the one i picked was sad. Friday we went to the movies and that was nice too. kind of crowded,so we had to go to the late show instead of the one we wanted to go to. but it's okay b/c we had time to wander the mall and get peanut butter sundaes before the movie started. all in all, it was a wonderful weekend, and i get to see him again in like 3 days now. I can't wait :D and mom said if i'm good, the bunny might bring me a basket while i'm home too :P. so anyways, that's about it for now...maybe i'll try to get to bed in a bit...if my caffeinne high wears off
