That's news to me
Hey everyone. It's been a long time. So, what's been going on with me?
I've been schooling myself college-style for a little while now. I'm in my second semester back at Appalachian. I made Dean's List last semester, so go me. I'm working on Dean's List again for this semester. I want to do it right this time around. I'm hoping to graduate with a pretty decent GPA. For those of you that have known me for a little while, you know I didn't do so well my first time in. It wasn't a matter of capability, just a matter of being a King Slacker. No more of that for me.
I'm still engaged to Mary. She's probably the best thing that has ever happened to me. I just didn't realize how much I was missing out on without her. My only wish is that she can be here with me soon. It's so hard to be away from her for such long periods of time. I get overly excited when I see her, but when I have to leave I just break down. I know she feels the same way. What we have is just so perfect, yet we can't share it nearly often enough. All I can do is wait.
On the music front, I've been playing Open Mic Night at the campus coffee place on wednesday nights. There are a few regular "coffee drinkers" there that know me by now. I even got a request for a song I played last week. I rule. I also still have plenty of Obi Love Jones cd's. Act now and get your copy before they run out!!!
