I bought a car!
Mom said she'd help out with payments/insurance... so I jumped.
I got a 1997 Toyota Avalon. Gold, leather, 6CD changer, 125K miles, 3.0L V6, about 22 mpg city, 32 hwy, power everything. I love this car. I set out to get something relatively nice that would last me for a long time. I think this fits the bill. It's been my experience that you can put at least 300K miles on a Toyota... and on the Avalon that shouldn't be a problem. So I'm excited. I was able to argue the guy at the dealership down a lot... about a thousand bucks. I'm getting it for $1.1K less than blue book. It does need a few minor repairs but they're giving me money to do that as part of the package. So I'm happy! This summer I'll be working my ass off so I'll pay down the principal as much as possible.
Anyway, if you've ever given my sorry ass a bunch of rides, now is your chance to cash in. As soon as I get it insured... (-:
