Surely enough I did win the compy. And I made an event on facebook with info if for some reason you should decide you want to come to the performance.
It was a nice feeling. Initially after playing I felt that if I lost, I wouldn't feel bitter because I went in there and played my absolute best. That's the first time I've ever done that in a competition. So now I just need to remember that feeling and carry it over to next time.
April Buss, a soph flute major, got 2nd place. I could kind of hear what she was playing... sounded great. UNL represent.
Anyway, time for a nap. I'm effing exhausted.
