Первые деньги за фото
Вот за эту самую фотографию сегодня получил первые свои фотографические деньги.
После публикации фоты на одном из англоязычных сайтов со мной связался джентльмен из Пуэрто Рико и предложил купить это фото для обложки книги.
Короче, вот его мессага:
My name is Carlos Roberto. I live in Puerto Rico as a professor of literature, a poet and a editor in my own independent press called Isla Negra. In my searching for images for the cover of a book (as a poet I love to match the tittle and the image) I found your great work. As part of our philosophical approach to the editorial work we prefer to use images of living and new artists in the covers, because we believe that a book could be a very powerful way to show not only the work of the author but also the work of the artist of the image of the cover. In our recents publications we have used the images of artists from poland, england, germany, brazil, rumania, philiphines, italy, turky, croatia and many more. For this next book we will like to have your authorization to use your image “Trio” for the cover of the poetry book from a puertorican writer that lives in california. The edition will consist of a print of 500 books and will be distributed in the Caribbean and in the most important academic libraries in the USA. Since we are a independent and alternative publishing house we can not paid like the commercial editors do. So... as way to say thank you we can offer you: a nominal payment of $100.00 US payment (by pay pal), your name in the page of credits, your small bio in the same flap with authors bio, and 2 copies of the book. В общем, с ПэйПалом облом вышел, т.к. в нашу ни от кого не зависимую страну денюжку низзя перечислять. Дядька сам предложил Вестерн Юнион и даже взял на себя оплату комиссии.
И вот сегодня пошёл и забрал у банка 100 долларов. :)
Теперь осталось получить книжку со своей фотой. :)
Между прочим, это моя первая минималистическая осмысленная фотография. Об этом сказано вот тут. Там, правда, она ещё не до конца обработана - я тогда ещё плохо владел приёмами обработки таких фото. И это фото из Балаклавского фототура.
В общем, как бы там ни было, а приятно. Может ещё кому в Эквадоре или Новой Гвинее моя фота понравится. :)))
