"An expression of the state of unconditional inward surrender that allows one to be one's own flow is a 13th century Samurai prayer:

I have no parents, I make the heavens and Earth my parents.
I have no home, I make awareness my home.
I have no life and death, I allow the tides of breathing to be my life and death.
I have no divine power, I allow honesty to be my divine power
I have no principles, I allow adaptability to all circumstances to be my principles
I have no guidance, I allow being my true self to be my guidance.
I have no enemy, only unfaithfulness to my true self can be my enemy.
I have no miracles, I allow right action to be my miracles.
I have no tactics, I allow emptiness and fullness to be my tactics.
I have no armor, I allow benevolence and righteousness to be my armor.
I have no castle, I allow immovable mind to be my castle.
I have no sword, I allow absence of self-interest to be my sword."
