Just realized that I didn't post Hasik's well-baby visit results. Compared to Alishka, he still looks smallish, so when we went for his 12mo checkup and the doc said he's average height (down from somewhat above-average before) I figured his era of gigantism is over, and he's going to turn out a small-fry like the rest of us. Great update, thanks! More people to talk to, yay!

I think Ali was quoting "Alice in Wonderland" radio play from my car. I've been meaning to write about this: many of K's saying which get the most of adult attention are literary quotes or references, but one really has to listen to the same things the kids do to catch them.

RE: English - I am reading an excellent book on child bilingualism right now, "7 Steps to Raising a Bilingual Child" by Naomi Steiner and Susan L. Hayes (Author). I highly recommend it.

Sorry that M. was so harsh to Hasik. That's somewhat typical of her: she is a big flirt if she initiates the flirting. If someone else does, she often clamms up.
