At the risk of running foul of the LJ jinx...
Ali is mostly potty trained!!!!
At the first truly hot day, I decided that it was time to remove the crutch from the crotch, and put undies on her. That was about a week and a half ago, maybe a bit less. The first couple of days she had a few accidents, mostly, for some reason, on the foam alphabet mat. And then, when bloguser left for the week, she just did it, and the underwear wasn't even Nike. She's fine for the daily nap, she was fine when we went over to aite's house (I was afraid I'd be washing the carseat cover, but she did a great job), and the only time she wears a diaper now is to bed. We put pull-ups on her when we go out shopping or a restaurant or something, in case she forgets, but so far she's asked on her own, and most of the pull-ups have been dry. I suspect that if we didn't have them, she may have asked more often. So, basically, not counting the nights and the long trips out, she was set in less than a week!
PS, Thank you, gladiolux for those pull-ups; I all but despaired of ever using them, but they've been very helpful!
PPS, Now, how do you deal with the night? This is definitely not an urgent issue, though. might even wait till we move. but that's as much a I'll say about that topic for now.
