Maruyama Ryuhei To Make His Movie Debut
Kanjani8's Maruyama Ryuhei will make his acting debut in the upcoming movie "Wild 7". According to Maruyama, he'll show a side that has never been seen before.
Yesterday, April 22nd, it has been revealed that Kanjani8's Maruyama Ryuhei will join the cast of the movie "Wild 7". It's the first time for Maruyama to be part of a movie production and he stated that he's very excited to challenge this new world.
In the movie Maruyama's playing a member of the "Wild 7", a gang consisting of seven wild police officers who ride motorcycles and show no mercy towards the bad guys.
When asked about his thoughts on playing a tough guy who shows off some motorbike action, he enthusiastically answered: "I'll have the opportunity to show a wild side that has never been seen before."
With that been said, you can look forward to "Wild 7", scheduled to open in theatres this winter.
*Wild 7 (ワイルド7, Wairudo Sebun) is a live action series based on a manga released in 1969 by creator Mikiya Mochizuki. There have also been an OVA and a spin-off anime.
The creation of the manga had been based on the condition that Japan and other non-communist countries were facing in the 1960s and 70s with the rise of militant student activists and politicians being caught and seen as corrupt with their economies recovering from the days of World War II
