okay so this weekend was kinda bland. does bland mean boring or does bland mean like...blah? cuz i meant that austin was kinda blah. not blah in the sense of like, it was not-fun....but i guess you'll see what i mean...journey ahead for an adventure into my weekend in austin. :)
THURSDAY

marks the arrival into austin. went to campus, had lunch with nick and michael and then jsut spent some time catching up on stuff. reminiscent of the good 'ol days in college when we had plenty of random times to do that. good times, boys :)

then me and darlene headed up north to meet peylin for THE PASSION EXPERIENCE TOUR!!!! oh my GOODNESS. it was magnifico. we got EXCELLENT seats (like the very first row, RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE STAGE STEPS). well, me and darlene were off to the side a little, but peylin was right under tomlin's nostril. sick. AHAHHAA. oooh oooh, and i DID see tomlin give an asian girl and EVIL EYE for taking flash pictures of him nonstop during the worship. yeah, i wouldn't like it either if someone was doing that to me...but then again, no one would ever be doing that to me. hahaha.

got our own pics with tomlin and crowder...and goodness gracious, that crowder just smiles freakier and freakier everytime i take a picture with him. anyway, and louie giglio's message was SO good. i think this was the first GOOD message i've heard about being a "light of the world". like seriously. (and trust me, i've heard a lot of you're-the-light-of-the-world messages). so overall, Passion was AWESOME. and i finally got my DCB Illuminate cd from peylin, so now i am LEGAL. hehehe.
FRIDAY

woke up early (me??? early?? wow.) and then went down to campus to the co-op to buy some stuff (they gave me two UT balloons and i put them in my car, but then i realized while i was driving how ANNOYING they are, cuz they kept blocking my rear view mirror or hitting me on my head). then i drove down to highland mall to use up a gift card, then went to WESTWOOD to pick up my gal, CHRISTIE WANG AIKEN. hahaha. well, christie and her friend michelle. very funny girls. we went to chikfila to eat really quick and then they had to go back for like, 4th period or something.

i was bored and had to wait for peylin to get home from work, so i went to ROSS to use up a different gift card (these are all from UT graduation last december) and wow, i found a lot of cute winter clothes. hahaa. then it still wasn't time to go yet, so i went to barnes & nobles and read an entire PEOPLE magazine.

you know, hollywood gossip is so random. i laughed out loud at some stuff, i was shocked at some stuff, and some stuff just disgusted me. but oh well. that's hollywood. everybody comes to hollywood. they want to make it in the neighborhood.

then peylin and i went to SUPER TARGET (niiiice store) so we could do her collage thing for someone. and we stayed at home to watch the NBC thursday line-up from the night before. (ER needs to start getting their act together or else i'm writing another email to help the storyline.)
SATURDAY

ugh. don't even get me started. the worst day of the weekend. it was an ugly gloomy day and UT got a huge butt whoopin'. it was embarassing. it's almost monday morning, and that story is STILL the cover story on the college football section of ESPN.com. that STINKS.

good thing me and peylin left at halftime. that was a good idea, cuz i think i woulda cried at the end of the game if i'd stayed the whole time. so we went shopping instead. AHHAHAA. then lighthouse at night which was interesting. played DDR with the middle school kids downstairs.

went back to peylin's place and we caught up on SURVIVOR that we missed on thursday night too. we already knew the outcome, but we still watched it. the show is getting interesting. then i watched the bonus material to COYOTE UGLY (saw that for the first time on friday...interesting movie). and then i watched GONE IN 60 SECONDS.

you know what? nicolas cage has THE coolest movie name EVER in that movie. MEMPHIS RAINES. ever since i saw that movie the first time, i TOTALLY loved it. not only loved his name, but after it was over, i was so inspired that i wanted to go out and boost cars...but my brains got the better of me. (plus, i wouldn't even know where to start if i really was gonna do it). hahaa.

then peylin and i stayed up til pretty late talking about RANDOM things. i won't go into detail what we talked about but it was freakin' funny, and i probably would NEVER talk to anyone else about it except for her. just cuz there are some friends that you can be totally silly and retarded with, and she's one of the few that i have like that.
SUNDAY

went to lighthouse. made and art project thing in the art lounge. youth service. blah blah blah. talked to people. went to Einstein's Bros. Bagels with Vicky, Christie and James shaw. funny funny people. good times :) these are the times i wished i were still in austin... :)

drove home to houston rather quickly (i honestly wasn't speeding, so i dont' know how i got home so soon). watched the travel channel with my mom and then now i'm just doing random things.
random thoughts:
- still need to finish cleaning up
- need to unpack
- need to buy harp music for the wedding this weekend
