Bubble Up

Despite my seeing ads for this soda around quite a bit (albeit mostly vintage ads), I actually thought that this was one of those sodas that were no longer made-until I saw it on that one History Channel show about Sodas and it was on the shelf at Galco’s Soda Pop Stop. Now, I know I can order online from a few places, but where’s the fun in that? Thankfully, I finally found it at a Cracker Barrel restaurant by chance.

I actually had some trepidation about this at first because looking at the label on the bottle says “Bottled by Dad’s Root Beer Company” . . . and you all know what that stuff is like. Thankfully, this is NOTHING like Dad’s Root Beer. It is like a much more flavorful 7up or Sprite. Naturally flavored, and sweetened with sugar, this is one not to pass up if you find it and you like those clear, lemon-lime sodas!

Sweetened With: "invert sugar"

Verdict: Worth a bottle or two

fruit sodas, lemon-lime, bubble up, sugar sweetened
