Found this Birch Beer at a Fat Jack's BBQ in South Jersey. Always nice to find a new bottler not too far from home (in this case, Bernardsville, NJ.) I also liked the name "Buck'n Birch Beer." Nice little double entendre there! The label is pretty neat too. The edges are frayed to make it look like a "wanted" poster (complete with bullet holes!)
The flavor of this Birch Beer is a bit different too. It's a Red Birch, so I was expecting some vanilla flavoring to make it kinda creamy, but . . . well, I could swear I taste some fruity flavorings to this as well! Sweet, but not too sweet. Slightly lacking in bite though.
Sweetened With: "sugar"
Verdict: Worth a bottle or two
