This is the largest picspam I've ever done- so it is very image heavy and most definitely not dial-up friendly. This is sort of a continuation of my favorite ships picspam I did a few months ago- except that one only covered current tv shows. Since then I've really wanted to do one containing older shows and canceled shows. And here is the result (I've put these in the order of the years they were on tv)

I really wanted to start out my picspam with early tv shows. At that time there were no such things as "ships" because most of the shows were about husbands and wives. I love I Love Lucy- I have since I was very little. It doesn't matter how many times I've seen an episode- if the show is on I will stop and watch it (I think some of my favorite episodes are the ones where they take the trip to California- and no I don't think I'm being biased only because some really great classic actors and actresses appear in those episodes- haha) Of course the husband and wife relationship between Lucy and Ricky was always fun to watch- especially when Ricky would go off in Spanish LOL

Leave it to Beaver is another one of those shows that I can watch over and over again. It just cracks me up. And I've always loved the husband and wife relationship between Ward and June on the show :)

Out of any classic tv husband and wife team- Rob and Laura are probably my favorite. This show is one of those shows that never seemed to age- it's as funny as the day it premiered. One of my favorite episodes is where Laura dyes her hair because she thinks Rob isn't interested in her anymore. Hilarious stuff!

I'm going to venture a guess and say that this may have been one of the first shows to actually feature a "ship" instead of a married couple (Get Smart also comes to mind- but it premiered the same year) I'm not 100% sure of that though- and since they do eventually get married I'm not sure if it counts 100% either.... Needless to say that I've always loved this show dearly- even though I haven't seen it in a really long time. They don't seem to show episodes of it on tv anymore. I guess this is what DVD's are for- haha

So now I'm skipping a lot of years into the 80's. I think this is the time where tv "ships" really got started. And I'm not complaining either because Sam and Diane are one of my favorites ever. I have fond memories of my parents watching this show when I was younger- even though that was quite a while after Diane left the show. I re-discovered this show for myself about a year ago and watched the first 5 seasons in a very short amount of time (what?! They're only half hour episodes LOL) I can honestly say that this is one couple that I didn't care about how many times they got together and then broke up. This usually irritates me to no end- but for some reason it really worked for them. And it probably helped that the show is a comedy and not a drama.

Now this is one show that I'm not sure how many people actually know about. A short summary of the show would be that a government agent (codename "Scarecrow) and a housewife get accidentally teamed up during an undercover operation. The agents boss thinks they work really well together and soon the two are paired up on various missions. I discovered it back in the spring through AOL TV online. They had the first 2 seasons posted and I started watching it. The show is not available on DVD currently- but I read online last week that they may be releasing it next year!! I've seen a lot of people compare this show with the current show "Chuck" and I can see the comparisons- even though the roles are reversed. I love this show to pieces though- so if it does get released on DVD be sure to check it out!

I'm not sure there is much I can say about Moonlighting that people don't already know. Again I was way too young to see this show when it was on- so I've had to "re-discover" it. It was a really good show and so different from anything else that was on at the time. (The black and white episode where they go back to the 1940's may be one of my favorite episodes of a tv show ever) I will say though that even though I really hate the last 2 seasons of this show- I don't think it was because they "got together" I really think it was the fact that the storylines became absolutely ridiculous and they weren't even in the same state for most of the season (yes I know all of the "behind-the-scenes" reasons for this) I think if they'd taken a different approach to the last 2 seasons the show could have been saved- but what do I know lol. All I do know is that the first 3 seasons of this show are really great and very fun to watch.

Some people think this show is a bit cheesy- and yes watching it all these years later it does seem to get that way a bit. But I still absolutely love this show.

So I just started watching this show about 2 weeks ago. I wasn't sure how I was going to like it at first- being about politics and government. But I have to say that after just watching the first episode I was hooked on the show. Though I don't always agree with the shows political standpoints it's one of the best written shows I've ever watched. Donna and Josh are one of my favorite parts of the show so far- I love all of there little political debates and I love the fact that they are such good friends. I'm currently on season 2 so I can't wait to see what happens over the rest of the seasons :)

I know I've said this about a few other shows already- but Firefly is one of my favorite shows of all time. Unfortunately I discovered it after it had been canceled- which seems to be the case for most people. I hate the fact that all we have is half a season and a movie- but at least there was a movie, right? Even though nothing really happened between Mal and Inara, they are still one of my favorite ships. I actually kind of like the fact that the movie was left a bit open ended. At least one of them wasn't killed off.....(If your a fan of anything by Joss Whedon you know what I'm talking about.....)

Oh look- more sci-fi haha. I started watching BSG really late into it's run- say about 8 episodes before the series finale. I thought it was a very good show- though it got a little weird towards the end. I loved the relationship between Roslin and Adama though- that ending in the series finale actually made me cry!

Another favorite from BSG. Again with the ending though- can nothing be happy on that show?! LOL

I love Tony and Ziva- but they stress me out so much! LOL I'm really happy with the way things are going in the current season though (I won't post any spoilers :) )

I'm not sure if there are words to express the adorableness of Abby and McGee. I love their little geeky relationship

I don't love them quite like I used to- but if they keep up with moments like the one at the end of the last episode (the museum episode) I may have to put them back near the top again. I'm happy to report that I'm enjoying season 5 much more than season 4 which makes me happy!

So Barney and Robin are a really new ship for me- so new in fact that I'm only through half of season 1. In my horrible ways though I've already seen a dozen Barny and Robin fanvids on youtube and many more picspams- so I'm kind of spoiled. Needless to say that they are adorable though!

I still say that Jim and Pam have had one of the most fulfilling tv relationships ever on tv. It still isn't boring to me even 6 seasons in and I don't know if it ever will be. I've always been so happy that they haven't had the "normal" tv relationship of breaking up/getting back together or just never getting together at all.....

Oh Friday Night Lights- the little show that could! I'm so ready to see the 4th season. I seriously think that Eric and Tami have the best married couple relationship on tv right now. It's so realistic

I loved this show so much- and then they had to go and ruin it for me. I still haven't seen the 3rd season and I'm not really sure if I'll ever be able to watch it. I go back and forth on the Marian/Robin, Marian/Guy relationships. I really like both- but it just sort of depends on what mood I'm in (On a side note I really want to get into Merlin because I hear such great things about it. I'll get there one of these days.....haha)

Just love this show and this pair- have from the beginning. That and the fact that they are bringing the show back sooner and adding more episodes for the new season makes me really happy!

I will start out by saying that I usually hate vampire stuff which is a reason why I didn't watch this show when it was on. I saw it the summer after it was canceled and thought it was such a good show- and then got mad at myself for not watching it while it was on. It's probably the only vampire show I'll ever like and that's ok- because it's a good one. I loved the relationship between Mick and Beth from the first episode- I just wish we'd gotten to see more of it.....

I honestly can't make any fanvids or picspams for this show without getting a little sad. I miss this show so much! Such a perfect tv show. If you looked up adorable in the dictionary the relationship between Ned and Chuck would be listed under it. I'm making myself want to pull out my DVD's now lol

I know, I know. This isn't the British version. But I really loved the new version of the show- I find myself missing it on Wednesday nights now and then. Have I mentioned how much I hate it when shows get canceled......

For the past few episodes of the new season- I've been finding myself loving their partnership more and more. I really see a big difference between last season and this season. They seem to be closer and a bit more trusting of each other- both of which will probably turn out to be bad things sooner or later

Again with the awesome partnership angle. I'm loving the relationship this season

The "newest" ship on my list. In all honesty I feel a bit bad for liking them together so much because of the whole "he's married, she's engaged" thing. But why do they have to be so cute together?! Honestly......

So that's the whole list- if you read that whole thing then congratulations! Because that was ridiculously long! LOL I did leave off a few "ships" mainly for time and space sake (and also because I couldn't find pictures for some)
