my boyfriend and i just recently found a good home for a little orange & white tabby kitten who looks a lot like that.. (we would have kept her, but we each already have houses full of cats.. i have 3, and he has 6..)
I have a cat named a linus, too.. he got his name because he has a 'special' relationship with his blankie (he nurses on it all the time..)

I have another kitten already ( well shes a cat but we call her kitten)
& she is just the joy of our lives!!
