Nozomi hummed, carrying a pad of paper and a pen that she'd borrowed from the supply warehouses, as she walked into the room. Upon seeing Mewtwo at the computer, she stopped, her clipboard and pen clattering to the floor.
"M-Mewtwo-san!" Nozomi flailed and put one hand over her Pinky Catch. "You're not going to stop me from finding the best way to get to the moons!" Did he even look like he was trying to do that?
Mewtwo watched her humourlessly for a moment before turning his back to her. "Why do you wish to reach the moons?" he asked a few seconds after the typing had resumed. He wanted her to see that she was no longer necessary for him to use the system.
"
(A ridiculous deception; they are one and the same. Catastrophe follows this one, but there may be a use for her.)
He was only typing at a fraction of his normal speed. despite the show he was trying to put on, his attention was mostly focused on the potential danger behind him, the pink-haired child whose behaviour he couldn't understand or predict for the life of him.
The fact that he wasn't going to take over her mind again was a relief, and on a normal occasion, she would think that typing with your mind was the coolest thing ever. Still, Mewtwo had shown himself not to be a very nice person, and in fact to be dangerous, so she was at least attempting to be cautious.
"Because I miss Winry-san and the others," she explained. "I think they're stuck there."

"Why?" he asked, casting her a glance. The way people disappeared concerned even him, although he wouldn't acknowledge it. If Nozomi somehow knew something...
"I don't know." She sweatdropped and rubbed the back of her head. "But it's the one place we haven't been able to look, right? So either they're there, the weird strangers took them, or they went home."
Mewtwo had missed seeing sweatdrops. Few people in this place produced them for some reason i mean uh
"...Do you have any idea of how to reach them?" He was pretty sure he knew what the answer would be, but it didn't hurt to ask. The idea that the moons might be reachable here hadn't actually occurred to him. Maybe there was something out there.
"That's why I'm here!" Nozomi took a heroic pose that she'd probably seen on TV once. "To find out if there's any instructions for building a rocket, or any other way to get there!"
:B My chronic html fail isn't your fault!mewandimprovedJanuary 28 2010, 00:55:48 UTC
Mewtwo's brow lowered in thought as he contemplated the posing Nozomi. Without a doubt, she was the most bizarre human he had ever encountered. After a moment of silence, he asked, "What are you doing?"
"Oh!" She blinked and stood normally, sweatdropping. "It's a hero's pose, to show that I'm going to save everyone who's disappeared! I saw someone do it on TV. Why?"
"Why would anyone..." he gave up. It was a Nozomi thing to do, apparently, incomprehensible to anyone else.
"So you intend to build the rocket yourself, use it to not only reach one moon but many of them, and finally return safely with the people you hope to find. What makes you think that even if you found all the materials and instructions you need, you could construct and control such a thing?" He sincerely hoped that there wasn't anything as volatile as rocket fuel to be found. Nozomi could probably destroy half of the void just by trying to carry it.
