It was rather clear that the Void did not really understand the concept of day and night, but the Universe Construction Network nevertheless functioned on a twenty-four hour clock. The time was displayed prominently on clocks in various facilities, as well as on the BBS terminals, and so far there had been no sign of the Void making any adjustments

Kyon tilted her head back, eyes closed, letting the spray wash down her body and loosen the knots that had built up in her muscles. Her always working mind was blissfully blank for once.
This was why it wasn't until a few minutes into the Dark Hour she noticed something off with the water coming out of the shower head.
'Is that.... blood?!'
An ear-piercing scream rang out from the baths.

It was a completely foreign feeling to the woman who didn't physically need to sleep. Never before in her life had the Power Suit that acted as a second skin to her run out of power. Now, though, for some reason, it had. Samus frantically pulled her helmet off, first, and then worked on scrambling to her feet. The suit was much, much heavier now that it had no power of its own, but it wasn't heavy enough to stop the warrior from moving. Samus stood, albeit uneasily, and took a second to gain her balance.
..This can't be happening. What could be wrong with my power suit? Thoughts raced through her mind. She wasn't worried about being stuck inside the power suit; it could be removed with some help. She was more worried about what had caused her Chozo Armor to fail like this. However, before she could do much more than steady herself, a scream rang through the desolate void. Forgetting herself, Samus booked it towards the baths ( ... )

Probably not the smartest move on his part.
"Kyon-chan, hang on, I'm coming to get--" Crash.
He didn't finish the sentence, because as dramatic and heroic an entrance as that had been, for all his valor, Ryoji slid past her and... kept going. He managed to catch himself and get better balance before he hit the other wall with his head and split it in two, but it was clear when he crawled back and peeked into her little shower stall he'd made some kind of horrible mistake, but it hadn't yet hit his very, very thick brain.

Shortly after, she screamed herself.
"Whaaaaaaaaaaaat!?" Nozomi checked to see if her Pinky Catch was still on, jumped off her bed-now-coffin, and ran through the makeshift residential district in a nightgown.

Now that honestly didn't mean much- Daisuke didn't know what was going on half the time, but he somehow always seemed to make things work in his favor. This, however, was a bit out of his league. He'd been on his way back to the make-shift house he and Ken had built with his newly located soccer ball in hand when the Dark Hour began. (Not that he had any idea that was what this was.)
At first he didn't notice anything was wrong. It was dark out. Just another night in this strange place. But then he heard the screams. One came from the direction of the baths- the other from a girl running around in a nightgown.
Utterly bewildered, Daisuke stopped in his tracks, mouth slightly agape as he watched the girl freak out. Figuring he should probably do something, Daisuke called over to her, "Um, hey?" Then, a bit louder: "HEY. What the hell are you doing?!"

Ryoji was pensive; and not in a good or thoughtfully stupid way that he tended to put out around others. He knew about the Dark Hour; he'd probably brought it here, and that was what worried him. What if Nyx appeared? What if the Shadows appeared? There were regular people here, right? Would they all be equipped to fight them? Would his Persona even work?
... There were too many questions. But as far as everyone else, one might expect him to be the most panicked of them all, but he actually seemed the calmest.
