"But I was bored."
"You know, normal people read books, or go for a walk, or something when they're bored. They don't paint their best mate's nails pink when they're asleep!"
"I found the spell in a book?"
"So why didn't you paint your own nails?"
"I did!" Ron held out his own scarlet and gold nails for inspection.
Harry sighed, "so, what's the counterspell?"
"I, uhm, haven't read that far yet."
"What book did you get it out of then?"
Blushing scarlet from his ears all the way down his neck, he mumbled something Harry didn't quite catch.
"Eh?"
"Uhm... Witch Weekly?"
"...Really."
"It was mum's! And it was sitting there, and I was bored..."
