[ There's a girl on the screen, familiar to some. She's figured out how to use the device, yeah. She's seen enough of the city to get a vague idea of the place, yeah. But now she has questions. That's the troublesome part.

She looks like she's squatting in the middle of the road. Her message opens with a loud whisper. ]

Um, guys? I think I've ( Read more... )

Heh, you're a rather cute little thing aren't you? Welcome to Fortuna then Taiwan! Allow me to introduce myself properly! My name is Haer'Dalis, a blade bard from Sigil, and it's a pleasure to meet you. As for being kidnapped? I think all of use here have been kidnapped so to speak.

Oh! Hello. [ Unfazed because one, people call her cute all the time, but it doesn't really get to her, and two, it's just. How she is. ] So everyone here is a victim of a great, big, intergalactic kidnapping scheme? How many of us are there?

Hehe, intergalactic kidnapping scheme? Nice description of it. I've only been here maybe a few moments longer than you have I believe, but I'd say there were... oh... at least a hundred of us or so?

Wow... they're really ambitious! The gas must cost a lot.

But who could do such a thing!? [ Oh woeee. ]

Gas? ... is that some form of fuel? I would have thought they simply used magic to do it, but perhaps they found a more mechanical route.

The vultures of course. At least that's the kindest name one could give scientists who consider us nothing more than bodies. Perhaps they're saving us for a late night snack my fair Taiwan.

Magic isn't real, silly! Ahaha, ha, oh... I hope we're not too tasty so they don't eat us right away. The scientists?

Haha! I'm the silly one? Oh my dear Taiwan, you have yet to see all the wonders that the planes have to offer then if you don't believe in magic. I'd show you a bit right now if I did not have this chip stuck inside me.

Yes, the carnivorous scientists are the ones who place the chips in newcomers, and are responsible for us being here. I had the displeasure of speaking with one of them myself recently enough. Apparently they had set off some form of explosion before I came here, which blasted radiation all over the place.

Hm, so that's why everyone is gone...

--Chips!? [ No one told her about chips! She starts frantically searching the back of her neck for one. ]

Oh yes, theses scientists insert some form of computer chips into all of us so that they may keep track of us. It disables the supernatural powers of all who reside here, and I happen to be one of those unfortunate individuals finding myself suppressed. From what I have heard however, there are some in this place with the medical experience to remove them if one desired. I'm currently on the lookout for a fellow by the name of Cube.

That sounds really fishy... Cube? Hehe, that's a cute name. What kind of magic can you do once you take your chip out?

Oh yes, the scientists are the stinkiest, fishiest, fish of the fish~

Yes, cube is one of the people capable of removing chips.

What kind of magic you say? Arcane magic for the most part. I can do almost anything I want to with my magic, set fires, become invisible, create storms of ice, raise undead warriors, summon monsters, give myself super human speed, or slow my foes. Just about anything at all really.

[ Laughs. ] You talk a lot, but that's not bad. Ooh, can you make... sparkles?

Haha! That I could! I could make glitter dust capable of blinding people with it's beauty, or a rainbow hues of colors could spill from my finger tips, dazzling all who gaze upon them.

Then you shall my dear Taiwan! I shall see to it that my powers are returned to me, and when they are, I shall fill this entire city with a multicolored display to fill rainbows with envy.
