SNOW!
I woke up this morning and it was snowing large fluffy flakes of wintery goodness. Well this was until I groggily realized I was actually still on call and that I would have to dig my car out of the at least two plus inches of snow it was coated in if there was a call. So of course I did the logical thing and went back to bed. Silly I know since I would be screwed if I got a call. Which I didn't, which is sad but there was snow!
It eventually got nasty windy and is still snowing in fact, but I love the first GOOD snow of the season that actually sticks! Hopefully it will stay on the ground until at least Christmas. I don't typically get snow for Christmas so getting it at school is such a treat! Even if it does mean I am freezing for several months.
However, I have concluded that I need to get a UV lamp so that my body doesn't sleep me into ruin. Being from the South makes me crave sun like crazy so having winter up North were it gets grey by 430 and dark by 5 may mean that in my fourth year I will finally be smart enough to purchase artificial sun.
Now if they would just turn on the heat in my townhouse so I wouldn't be so cold! I mean seriously, A/C in November in central NY?
Oh! and one of my very good friends up here brought me presents from his interview! Yay pretty colors! And Thank You!
