We were hanging out having dinner last night with spoomeister and pinky_ki. Pinky and I started talking about how we can't sleep if it's hot out, and we were noting that neither of us has any tolerance for heat. This may sound strange given that we both grew up in the Southeast, but it's true. As soon as it got hot, the AC came on in the house. Your car had AC, and all the malls and movie theaters had AC. If you had any chores to do outside, you did them early in the morning or in the evening. The rest of the time, you stayed indoors.

Spoo and WoS looked very perplexed.
