Sometimes the Days are Too Short
You ever have one of those weekends that just leaves you with a smile on your face? That was last weekend for me. It was really hard to get up this morning and come to work.
The highlight for m e this weekend was going with waysofseeing, ronelyn, and strahd72 to The Gorge to see The Police. Many, many thanks to strahd72 for procuring those TWELFTH ROW SEATS!!! It is not often that I can actually see the performers on stage at a concert without looking at the Jumbotron. Elvis Costello opened for The Police, and he was as good as I expected. Elvis is a wonderful live performer, and he has just amazing energy. A nice bonus to Elvis' set was when Sting came on stage to sing "My Aim is True" with Elvis.
In other weekend goodness, WoS and I had a nice relaxing Sunday with some Rock Band playing, a little clothes shopping for WoS, and some appetizer eating and Mojito drinking on an outdoor patio.
Oh, and I spent three hours in line Saturday morning at the Apple Store to buy an iPhone. Seekrit message to deanbiron: I am in total geek heaven.
