Eat Real in the Summertime…
Wow is it really almost October already?!! Man time sure does fly by when you’re out of the country for 3 weeks! I just got back from my trip to Korea & Japan! Let’s see if I can get to posting these photos up before 2012! That’s very ambitious considering I have never fully posted all my photos from Japan trips 07′ & 09′
Anyways back in JULY during the weekend of Carmageddon, I checked out the Eat Real Festival in Culver City. I had such an awesome experience from the previous year in Oakland, so I was excited to see what Southern California could cook up! This wasn’t your typical food festival of long lines waiting at food trucks. There were a mix of vendors selling hot foods, a market to purchase goodies to take home, and of course some LA food trucks. Food demonstrations were held throughout the day showing you where your food came from or how to make something. It’s all about learning and appreciating the art of food craft! Best of all was the free admission with everything priced around $5 and under!
